Questions and answers

Common questions

Can I order doors without buying cabinets?
Yes. Replacement doors and drawer fronts are sold on their own, and most makeover orders are doors only. Send us the sizes of your existing cabinet openings and we build to them.
Do you make doors to my exact sizes?
Send us the height and width in millimetres, quantity and preferred range, and we will confirm available options and pricing.
How do I measure for replacement doors?
Measure each existing door, not the cabinet opening, and measure every door separately — kitchens fitted on site are rarely identical across a run. Our measuring guide walks through it with drawings.
Can you drill the hinge holes for me?
Yes. Tell us the hinge positions from your existing doors and we drill to match, so the new doors go straight onto the cabinets you already have.
Are the cabinets rigid or flat-pack?
Rigid, built and glued before they leave us, with solid backs. Flat-pack is available on selected units where it makes delivery easier or cheaper.
What sizes do the cabinets come in?
The carcasses come from our standard range — base, wall, tall, corner and drawer units in the sizes kitchens are normally built from. The doors in front of them are made to your measurements.
What hardware is included?
Check the specification for your chosen cabinet to see which hinges, runners and fittings are included; ask us if you need help matching hardware.
Can I order a single cabinet?
Yes. There is no minimum order, and single replacement units are a common order from fitters and from people repairing a damaged kitchen.
How long does an order take?
Timing varies by product, finish and whether it is made to order; ask us to confirm the lead time for your selection before ordering.
How is my order delivered?
Contact us to confirm the delivery service, charge, access requirements and arrangements for receiving your order.
What do I do if something arrives damaged?
Tell us within 48 hours with photographs of the damage and the packaging, and we replace the damaged item. Pallets occasionally take a knock in transit, so check the order before the driver leaves where you can.
Can I return something I have changed my mind about?
Standard stock items can be returned unused and in their original packaging. Made-to-measure and painted-to-order items are made specifically for you and cannot be returned for a change of mind, though your rights over faulty or misdescribed goods are unaffected.
Do you offer samples?
Yes — order a sample door in the colour and style you are considering before you commit. Photographs on a screen never quite match a painted finish in your own light.
Is there a guarantee?
Ask us for the guarantee details for your chosen products, including what is covered and how to make a claim.
Do you offer trade pricing?
Yes. Open a trade account and you see trade prices across carcasses, doors and fittings, with quotes from your drawings or cutting list and delivery to site.
Are prices shown with or without VAT?
Prices include VAT by default. Trade accounts can switch to ex-VAT prices, and both figures appear at checkout.
Do you fit kitchens?
We supply; fitting is carried out by independent fitters we work with. Tell us you want your kitchen fitted and we put your design in front of fitters covering your postcode so they can quote you.
I am a fitter — can I get work through you?
Yes. The same account that buys from us can also receive fitting opportunities from our customers. Tell us the postcodes you cover and whether you want to fit only or supply and fit on your own account.
